Among the large reasons OSRS
Haven’t played runescape seriously in a few years but pay because I need rs 2007 gold to feel the sense of freedom and adventure, to osrs I did when I started playing classic, and to support the progession. I am certainly going to cancel it if any kind of mtx shows up. Irrespective of the osrs/rs3 despise, we still play for the same reason.
I’m not sure why people are here responding to remarks of”osrs runescape players would only quit” using”lol no they would not”.Jagex said exactly the same thing to runescape players back when they started introducing mtx and dumb upgrades nobody wanted or asked for. Runescape players said keep fucking testing us, you’re making runescape unenjoyable and were going to leave. Jagex stated lol no one won’t… guess whatthey did. These types of things could be made accessible without monetisation though.
I do agree differently though. Among the large reasons OSRS and I could not play with was since I found it hard to take pride. I do actually enjoy the ability to create my character look the way, although I am not into the breaking wings, particles, clown heads and so on. This mindset doesn’t make sense. There’s nothing stopping Jaredx to place MTX on both games. They could also put no MTX at the same time too.
However, naturally, businesses are there to make money and it doesn’t matter if you’re actually worse than every other firm at the moment (possibly except Blizzard), but yeah, playing a game that costs us 130$ a year sounds like it could be a premium game, as it takes so long to achieve everything? Nope, instead there is over 10 kinds of monetization that solve issues which Jagex have created. Lack? Solomon’s shop! Progression is too slow? TH! Want some info about what you’re doing since runescape doesn’t inform you? The Pro Tracker thing is that for you. The reason there is hardly to buy rs 3 gold any mtx in school is the dated engine.
Dragon bones were a particular cost (I forgot exactly how much) but 9k of them or some thing were 30m. Never got scammed/lured for anything more than a rune.
