Title
Throughout the novel of Siddhartha, written by Herman Hesse, Siddhartha is faced with many life lessons. From these lessons, Siddhartha is molded into an enlightened being. From conversing with Gotama to watching the river flow, his stops are full of lessons. Some of the most fruitful lessons that Siddhartha learns come from the river. The lessons of wisdom and timelessness are learned from listening and analyzing the river. Being one of most important roots of Siddhartha’s lessons, the river is important in Siddhartha because of its lessons of wisdom and timelessness it taught him.
