INGRID ERIKSSON IS A SWEDISH GIRL WHO STUDIES THE SPANISH LANGUAGE IN
CADIZ (IN THE PUERTO OF SANTA MARÍA)
Their life: she was born in Örebro, a small village in the centre of Sweeden , in 1984. Their likings: Ingrid is a lover sport and from your enface she plays soccer. Also these like to run or go to the gym. In the music world, she loves especially the most strident sounds of the rock, like Stooges or The Clash.
- Why did you decide to learn Spanish?
- I was studying English in
London . There I knew to many people and I was made friend of a Spanish girl, Paula. I came to see it to
Madrid and I loved the country, but it was very difficult to communicate whith the Spanish people. The people don't speak English. So that, I decided to come to learn Spanish.
- Why did you choose this town?
- Good, I had a friend studying in this city and he told me that it was a small city, beside the sea and with a lively night life. Exactly, I was looking for.
- What do you like more here?
- The sea, without any doubt. There is no sea where I was born and that is something that I please very much. I love the city, which it’s very homelike and I feel like at home. I like to live here; I don't have one second to bore: the classes, go to the beach or go out with the friends.
- And what do you like less?
- I don't like anything the men´s mentality, if I have to be sincere. In my country, there is a totally different mentality. Here, they behave a very rude form. I could not go down the street without a man screams me or I have to listen the some dirty comment.
- Then, don't you tolerate to the “macho ibérico”?
- Absolutely; either in a bar or down the street, the men look at the woman in a way that doesn't like me anything.
- Who are the main differences that do you are seed between Spain and your country?
- The people in my country are more independent than in , and the family has a paper less important. I think that is more developed in many aspects. For example, the woman has a roll more marked and traditional in
. I think that the Swedes women are more free and emancipated that the Spanish women. In my country, men and women are really equal.
